Ingredients:
For the Pasta:
Boiled pasta of your choice
For the Sausage Mixture:
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp oil
1 small tomato, chopped
1 mixed bell pepper (red, yellow, or green), sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup sausage, sliced
¼ cup black olives, sliced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp coriander
¼ tsp chili flakes
For the White Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups (½ liter) milk
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp cream cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Instructions:
Prepare the Sausage Mixture:
Heat oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic.
Add the sliced bell peppers and chopped tomato, and sauté for a few minutes.
Stir in mushrooms, sausage, and olives.
Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, coriander, and chili flakes.
Cook for 5 minutes, then set aside.
Make the White Sauce:
In a pot, melt butter and add flour, stirring continuously with a whisk.
Slowly pour in the milk while whisking to prevent lumps.
Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and nutmeg.
Once the sauce begins to heat up, add heavy cream, cream cheese, and shredded mozzarella.
Stir until the sauce thickens.
Assemble the Pasta:
Mix the sausage mixture with the boiled pasta.
Pour most of the white sauce over the pasta and mix well, saving some for topping.
Transfer to a baking dish, pour the remaining sauce over the top, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 5 minutes, then broil for another 5 minutes until golden and bubbly.
